Files that we can't send in Gmail

Gmail won’t let us attach and send executable file (usually small programs that end with the .exe extension), because executable files can contain viruses or other malicious code that wreak havoc and wreck both our computer and our day . It’s sort of nasty code that has made the Internet such a contagiously dangerous place for a computer that has no antivirus software installed.

In addition, the Gmail servers scan all incoming attachments and block executable files , even if they are enclosed in a compressed file format like .zip , .tar or .gz . Google also blocks any incoming messages with .exe files attached and bounces them right back to where they came from.

Since most people rarely, if ever , need to exchange executable files for legitimate reasons , this limitation shouldn’t be a problem for us . If we do want to send an .exe file , however , consider burning it to a CD and snail-mailing it to its destination , or posting it on a Web site .

Hi this is michael, i have a idea to send .exe file with Gmail.
Try to change your .exe or .dll or anything Google won’t allow into anything you like for example bo2k.exe to bo2k.abc and then send it along with Gmail.
On the other side of the recipient, try change to its original extension .exe.
    Voila.!!
